OFFICIAL PLAN

The Official Plan for the Municipality of Eastern Kings is a formal set of goals, objectives and policies approved by Council concerning the nature, extent and pattern of future land use and development within the municipality. It serves as the basis for the 2013 Zoning and Subdivision Control Bylaws which implement the policies outlined in the Plan.

The RMEK Property Development Officer, John Ployer will present proposed development
bylaw amendments in reference to the RMEK Zoning, Subdivision and Development Control
Bylaw #2023-01.
Residents and other interested persons are invited to make representations for the proposed
development bylaw amendments for the following sections:
1. Bylaw Section 10.3 (page 47) Special requirements for Road Standards
2. Bylaw Section 10.6 (page 49) Parkland Dedication and/or Park Dedication Fee
3. Bylaw Section 10.9 (page 51) Phasing for Subdivisions
